What to do when you see bullying happpening is to let teachers , parents principal know your classmate is bullied. No matter how snall you think it is, letting them know is always right to do. Both bullies and victims need help, so ask any adults you can trust to help them out. Do not try to get fhysical with the bullies. violence will never resolve the problem.
Q3How do we create the environment free from bullying?
Invite someone who looks lonely or that you have seen being bullied to sit with you at lunch, study with you in the library, or habg out after school. And let them know that you have their back if they need help.

I found a NGO group, Multilingual Education Research Institute.
Bullying is recognized as a serious problem affecting Japanese children. But non-Japanese children and their parents who are also harassed can have a hard time finding practical advice in their native language. They are doing Izime Zero campaign and it provides a number of services including telephone hot line and a web page with advice in English, Portuguese, Spanish, and Japanese.

12.Do you think the way boys and girls bully someone is different? Why?
A. Girls bully by social and complicated ways. Though boys bully directly by violence or fights, girls bully by the following ways; Rumour-spreading, writing graffiti about their victims, alienating them from their classmates and the use of email and instant messaging... Girls do harm to you by these nasty ways because they are intelligent. They bully by the brain.

8.Do you know what effect and influence happens if someone is bullied? What?
A. Bullying causes so much influence that a big murder could even happen. It's not the bully but the victim that makes the disaster; in return for the torment. Just like this, there seem to be a lot of outcomes that might be contrary to what we expect them to be. Generally, we don't predict that the victim might resist against the bully by the means of slaughter. This may show our lack of imagination about how hard the victims are feeling.

My topic is bullying and I found this NGO group.
This group is based on Gunma prefecture, though it networks nationwide and also accepts people who speaks foreign languages. This indicates so many problems about bullying spread into a lot of environments. The organization is trying to erase all the bullying issues happening all around the world.

Children tend to pick on someone who seems emotionally or physically weaker, or acts and appears different in someway. In addition, we have to think about the traits of Japanese society. It is well known that Japanese society is homogeneous. People tend to consider that being similar to each other is a virtue and gives a sense of relief or safety. People try to eliminate people who are different from them to protect themselves.
Q7How much do Internet or cellphones affect bullying?
It can have more devastating and longer-lasting effects. It's rapidly becoming a major problem. The problem is people write nasty things on blogs or websites anonymously, so we can't know who wrote them. The long term cyber bullying is greater than traditional bullying.

It says why this happen is that it comes from common misunderstanding of methods used in achieving enlightenment in Zen Buddhism. But I couldn't understand clearly why it's related to bullying. It also says a zen master treats his disciples in a manner that comes across as abusive, so the popular culture of Japan interprets this as a sign that abuse leads to enlight. Of course most of the Japanese people are Buddhist, but not pious Buddhist. I don't know where did the writer get the evidence, so I thought it's untrustworthy.

Perspectives from bullied people and how to deal with it
The bullied people say "the bullying people is bad, not our blame". You could say that. But the feature that people who are bullied have in common is mostly a lack of confidence or reluctance to claim. They share the same characteristic of acting passively. So when you are picked on by someone, it's the proof that you can't resist against him with words.
Ironically, bullied people misunderstand the reason why they are provided with hardships. They only think their bodies are quite small, so they feel they can't win others in fight. However, it is almost always the truth that giving back any strong word can stop people from considering you a weak person without fighting. If you make it a rule, it could be a prevention of bullying from those people.

perspective from people who bullies others
This could part be an answer to my Q2.
People pick on someone for many reasons. The most reasons why they might do it are that he or she looks weak in fight, and that the way he or she behaves is strange and different from theirs. It seems that if you look small and are likely to have less power than someone, he wants to show that he's stronger than you, and shows it by action. You feel uncomfortable and actually hurt in the body. But he says that he does it not for harassment, but for his mere curiosity and he doesn't feel sorry at all.
Another reason for bullying is that people pick on someone to remove their stress. As the days go on, they feel tired and fed up of everything, so they do it to relieve their mind like fighting video games. They think of you as an enemy so they kick and punch you in the mind and trunk.
Well, I THINK that people are only justifying the bullying by saying they have exact reasons to do it.
They don't stand in your place and consider your feeling, I GUESS.
